DescriptionReception dress, bodice (COS45.5.1) and skirt (COS45.5.2). 2 piece ultramarine corded silk grosgrain; bodice has a yoke of shirred white chiffon, slight asymmetry. Jabot and undersleeves of "Battenburg" lace. Tight sleeve pouches out (in chiffon) at wrist. Double skirt effect with bustle and pleats behind, circular side drapery with milliner's folds of blue velvet. Waist size 22". 1900-01.
