DescriptionEvening dress. Black silk chiffon and black machine-made lace; narrow smocked front yoke and v-neck in back. Bodice gathers into waist. Long skirt cut on bias with black lace inserts. Sleeveless but long narrow chiffon and lace floating scarves attached at shoulders to cover arms. Cos87.5a: black rayon slip cut in two sections. Bank straps, square neck. Good condition. Black chiffon, lace: 2piece (slip and dress). Black silk chiffon and lace evening dress. Black silk underslip. Black lace and chiffon sewn together following pattern of lace. Smocking at high square neck. Amazing long sleeves of chiffon and lace that are totally split on the underneath to allow for wing-like effect. Metal zipper (also Cos87.5a).
