DescriptionCrushed belt of astin with bow (COS51.40.2) that is part of afternoon dress (COS41.40.1). Afternoon dress. Satin stripped chiffon and lace. White; good condition though slightly stained. Afternoon summer dress with transparent yoke; complete underskirt of plain chiffon over silk foundation. Wide "shadow" lace on skirt; bolero of same; long chiffon sleeves; crushed belt of astin with bow. Chiffon and satin, lace. 1 piece dress with lace side panels and hem. Lace vest is part of dress. High collar. Chiffon/satin stripes, with sash. Fashionable, 1915-16.
