DescriptionA cylindrical hat box and lid made of cardboard covered in paper. The exterior paper is printed with colorful scenes of men and women wearing early 20th century clothing riding bicycles and a horse-drawn carriage in a mountainous landscape. Threaded through metal reinforced gromets on the side of the box are pink silk cords for carrying. The lid is covered with a dark grey/green paper printed with the text in silver: Hats by - / Ethel Atkins / 16 Arlington Street / Boston.
