DescriptionGravy tureen with cover (both numbered C1017a). Porcelain, hard paste. Crudly octagonal. Island and river design in blue and white. Borders of fishscale, picquet and scallops. Base has pigs-head handles: lid has helmet shaped handle, both characteristic of the wares made in southern China.
