DescriptionPorcelain, hard paste. Very deep section, octagonal, with slight notch at each angle. Form characteristic of much of the earlier blue and white ware and persisted for an indefinate period. Underglaze blue. River and island design in blue and white. Typical Nanking border, having a rosette in each mesh of the diaper; picquet edge.
