DescriptionTea pot. Porcelain. Drum shaped teapot with straight, or bamboo, spout. Handle on teapot is two intertwined bands, applied foliate terminals. Feldspathic glaze. All decoration in blak and gold overglaze opaque enamels. Handle terminals in both black and gold; border at bottom of pot is black intertwined lines; border at rim of pot has black line, line of black dots, two black lines, serpentine line of black dots, and pendant black and gold flowers; medallion on either side has black and gold shield, surrounded by feather or fern motives with gold dots or flowers, inside which are initials in gold: RE.
