DescriptionAmbrotype in a case of a woman seated. Her right arm is rested on a tablecloth lined table. Hand painting in gold on her earrings, necklace, bracelet, and chain at her waist. Pink hand coloring on her cheeks and on the tablecloth her arm rests on. She is wearing a light off the shoulder dress, with layers of ruffles and sleeves to the elbows. Her hair dark and parted down the middle, and pulled back behind each ear. She has ribbon on the left side of her hair, possibly from a bonnet on the back of her head. The ambrotype is in a gold mat, and is sitting in a brown embossed case. The front cover has b even broken off the back. The front cover is lined with red velvet.
