DescriptionSmooth bore. Looks like a metal cartridge, which fitted over a nipple with ahole in it, would be hit by the trigger and th espark would carry through the hole in the nipple to the charge in the barrel. There is a metal attachment for holding the ramrod, but the ramrod is missing.
