DescriptionManuscript on paper. Letter to Eric Parkman Smith, from Helen and Betty. No date [no year]. Appears to date to his late High School years, perhaps his finishing year at Andover. Subjects: Aunt Mary, Betty, the Clark farm on Lexington Road was set on fire ("there was a man sleeping in the barn who woke up and saw the blaze and also a man running out of the farm"). Betty adds in the margin: "Eric you better destroy this letter, because I send so much love that the boys may be schocked [sic] or kid the life out of you."
