DescriptionBodice for weddind dress (bodice is 1995.24.1, skirt is 1995.24.2). Silk, cotton. Grey silk, two-piece dress. Bodice opens in front with 18 cut steel buttons; stand-up collar, long fitted sleeves; bodice fitted over hips, front fitted and back gored for tight fit with bustle made with pleating and a large bow. Skirt gored with fullness; two tiers of pleating and one ruching at hem. Opening with hooks and eyes at the back; front skirt asymmetrical. Trim of horizontal pleating ending in a large bow. Lined with crinoline and cotton twill band at skirt bottom.
