DescriptionWood and paper fan. Wood stained (lacquered) dark red, painted with blue and grey designs. Paper has a painted white ground, with images of Asian (Japanese) women among green cabbage-like flowers. Blue floral border, scalloped edge. Back of paper has a speckled silver pattern.
