DescriptionWood and paper fan. Wood is painted in floral motifs. Paper has a chromolithograph image of an outdoor gathering, including a pastoral scene, a woman in the foreground playing a guitar (looks Spanish) surrounded by a crowd of people, and a matador with a bull. Image is highlighted with silver paint. The back of the paper has a white ground with spots of gold paint. Yellow and red tassel. 1995.20.1-.197: fan collection.
