DescriptionValentine with hard pasteboard envelope. Valentine is oval shaped, scalloped edges, embossed gilt decoration. At center, chromolithograph pastoral image of a woman, sitting with a little girl, a little boy hanging from the tree above; sheep in the background. Envelope is composed of two pieces of white pasteboard with gilt decoration; attached with a pink ribbon at spine and sides; two pieces of pink and green ribbon used to tie the envelope together. One side of envelope has a colored depiction of three boys in a field; two are carrying a basket and dropping seeds.
