DescriptionA black and white lithograph featuring a view of the Middlesex hotel. The hotel stands at the corner of the street at the proper right. At the far proper left, stands a stone obelisk identified as the Soldiers Memorial. The card features a white margin along the lower edge, printed with the caption text identifiying the scene. The reverse is addressed to Mrs. Walter Taylor / 51 Thornton Park / Winthrop / Mass. The accompanying message reads: Dear [Name indistinct] - Will be home / Fridy instead of Tuesday afternoon / unless I hear from you. If it / rains - shall call the next Tuesday / Hope you are well. Henry's birthday / comes this week - so shall be busy / Heard from Ethel - Belles' father died - With love [indistinct]. The card is postmarked Boston March 22, 1909.
