DescriptionLetterpress on paper, black ink on blue paper. Commonwealth of Massachusetts. A request to George Heywood, justice of the peace, to call a meeting to appoint officers for the First Parish church so that it may conduct business independently of the Town. "Warrant to George Heywood....The undersigned, qualified voters of the First Parish, in the Town of Concord....that the said First Parish has heretofore transacted its parochial business in Town Meetings....that the said Town has voted that it does not choose that hereafter parochial business shall be transacted at Town Meetings, or by the agency of Town Officers....To Moses Prichard of Concord....You are hereby required to warn the qualified voters of the First Parish, in Concord...." signed George Heywood, Justice of the Peace.
