DescriptionPostcard featuring a black and white photograph of a tree-lined path leading to the Old Manse in Concord, Mass. The caption on the white border beneath the image reads: "'Old Manse' built by Emerson's Grandfather just before the Revolutionary War -- Emerson wrote 'Nature' and Hawthorne wrote 'Mosses from an Old Manse' while living here". Addressed to Miss Agnes Learned, Hudson, Mass.

Message reads: "Dear Miss Learned: / I am glad to know you are nearly well again. Hope you will soon be back with us in Sunday school. Lovingly / Flora"
