Mr Estey formally of Gorham me an/(old powder man) was reading this bible at/the time of the explosion His son killed also" Inscription on the other side, "Picked up by/John Dwight Wilson/may 3d 1895/In the Prison yard/25 minutes after a big/Powder Mill explosion/ The owner and reader was killed also his son plus 3 others/over 350 panes of glass/broken in Prison windows/by concussion"
