DescriptionMass Meeting of River Meadow Owners! At a meeting of Meadow-Owners, citizens of Sudbury, Wayland, Concord, Bedford and Billerica, at the Middlesex Hotel, in Concord, on Wednesday, the 15th inst., it was VOTED, that in consequence of the vast injury to the Meadow-Owners of these and other towns, by reason of flowage at different seasons of the year....by forcing water back into portions of the high lands and rendering them unsuitable for cultivation, by stagnant water and poisionous miasma, and by an estimated annual damage of at least $100,000, We will Hold a Mass Meeting at the Town Hall, in Concord, On Monday, 27th inst., at 12 o'clock, M., to take into consideration what steps to pursue....
