DescriptionMortar and Pestle (H369a, H369b). Both pieces turned on a lathe. Mortar has flat base, incised ring and molding at base, molding at top, and another molding at rim. Three holes in base of mortar. Pestle has knob on end of handle, molding similar to that on mortar at base of handle, and large club end. Lignum vitae.
