DescriptionMaple, walnut, ash, rush. One of five "Transition" chairs, William and Mary to Queen Anne. Dutch influence. Backs, vase splats. Slight carving of the top rail. Rush seats and turned bases. Feet are Spanish, front stretchers have Portuguese bulbs.
