DescriptionManuscript on paper. Dock Square Watch, Boston. "Boston/ November the 24 day 1773/ This is Edard Irland's Return for the Dock Squar [sic] Eatch. This is to aquant the Settlegentel----of the town that i find the town to be still and quiet with in our rounds and I am in hoops it will continew so: our men are often outs in the Ded time of the Night but to the best of my Remembersns. I have not found the town to be so still and quiett not for this tow months past as it has ben this month the Duty of the town has ben fathfuly Discarged this month our Number Consists of six men [signed] Edward Irland/ George Cheasman/ Hugh Taylor/ Edward Sanders/ Joseph Edmans/ John Clough/ Absent Nights."
