DescriptionAn afternoon dress made of white mull or India muslin, edges scalloped and dress hand embroidered in wheat design, (American (or French?) embroidery). The bodice is high and short. The bodice is llined at top with linen and features a round low neck with lacings at the center. The dress features short sleeves trimmed with lace ruffles. The sleeve seams are high on the shoulder. The skirt is round and ankle length with no train. It features whitework embroidery in a wheat or vegetal motif.
