DescriptionObject file card describes this object as: "Motoring goggles; hinged lens." The object was previously unlocated. Inventory 2017 found two pairs of goggles in box CS-025 tagged with the number COS64.78.2; it appears that one of these goggles is in fact COS76.211. Based on information in the object files for both COS64.78.2 and COS76.211, photographs of the pair most likely to be COS76.211 are attached here. This pair of driving goggles feature yellow glass lenses in a brass frame. The edges of the frame are cushioned with wool. Elastic bands on the left and right side are secured at the back of the head with a metal hook and eye clasp. The goggles were found stored in a small, round box with lid. The exteriors of the box and lid are covered in white paper embellished with purple and green flowers.
