DescriptionWash pitcher (C949a) and bowl (C949b). Earthenware. Transfer printed in blue, both have two rows of large flowers on a light blue ground. Bowl has another row around outside and a central design of oriental buildings, three figures, one riding a zebra. Both marked in underglaze with an eagle, whose chest is an American crest. Bowl has impressed 6 or 9 and pointed 7 as well.
