DescriptionEarthenware, soft paste. Butter dish? Rectangular. Stands on 4 feet; partition inside. Number "240" incised in bottom under glaze. "36" incised on bottom of cover. Bluish glaze, settled thickly in crevices. Decoration painted under glaze in high temperature colors with a dainty conventionalized basket of flowers and small flower sprigs; blue, yellow, green, brown. Small molded handle rings on either end. Dividing wall in center. Straight sides. Four feet.
