DescriptionEarthenware. Transfer printed in light blue on white; cover does not match vessel. Vessel decorated with landscape showing hills, lakes, castles, grazing cows, sheep and deer. Around top is a band of blue edged with white scallops. Scrolled handle is white and has been mended. Inside the bottom of the vessel is a scene in blue transfer printing showing two cows and a long horned sheep or goat. Cover, which is ironstone, is decorated with a deeper shade of blue.
