DescriptionHot water pot with stand and spirit lamp. Part of a silver tea and coffee service, 2011.2.1-7. Ornate naturalistic leaf, branch and acorn pattern. A silver pin at the top of the stand engages the water pot to make a hinge so that it can be poured from the stand. Opposite the pin is a thumbscrew that secures the pot to the stand so both can be lifted together. All pieces in the service are marked "H.B. Stanwood, Boston" and "J.E. Stanwood, Pure Silver Coin." Monogrammed "MM" with "D" overlaid.
