DescriptionPine door, interior. Joined door with muntins and rails of 5/4 pine stock decorated with a scratch stock. W: of medial rail 4 ¾; W: of medial muntin 4; perimeter rails and muntins vary in width from 3 ½ to nearly 4". One horizontal fielded panel 15x26 (sight) over two vertical fielded panels each 11 x 38 ½; width of chamfers 3". Two long (32") cleat hinges of ash secured with rosehead nails to upper and lower rails. Latch of maple (cleat, L: 10 1/4) and ash (bar, L: 12 1/4) secured with rosehead nails. Remains of another latch of ash and leather secured with rosehead nails survive on verso. Also on verso an applied batten (W: 5 ½) over the bottom rail attached with rosehead nails. Traces of a red wash on lower part of door on verso but not apparent elsewhere.
