DescriptionHandwoven green wool and suede bucket purse or hand bag (2007.7a). Brass fittings and rings; drawstring closure, "feed bag" style. Brass buttons on bottom. Has a matching green change purse inside (2007.7b). The purse was either a product of the "Three Weavers" (Rosita Corey, her sister, and Joan Esch) or another combination of the same weavers working in Concord. The Coreys were members of the weaver's guild and learned to weave through an adult education program in town. They made a total of only 4 purses like this.
