DescriptionHandwritten, ink and colored marker on posterboard. Label used by Russell Kettell, probably in one of his planned exhibitions at Middlesex School. "This bench is one of a pair inspired by the page of stools in 'The Age of Oak.' They were made for a definate location in a school lobby and on them some half a dozen boys got their first practice in the use of carving chisels....
