Description"Removing Historic Gun which fired war's last shot in Pacific." Six-inch gun turret removed from U.S.S. Concord. Gun purported to be the weapon used to fire the last shot against the Japanese. The gun will be preserved in Washington's Naval museum. The Philadelphia Inquirer, Saturday, January 12, 1946.
