DescriptionLettepress and manuscript on paper. Stagecoach waybill. A partially printed waybill from the Citizen's Union Line and United States Mail "Way Bill from boston and Lowell to Brattleboro' and Keene, through from Boston to Keene in Thirteen hours...Leaving Boston at 5 o'clock, a.m." Twelve passenger names written in and various calculations. Passengers include an Emerson (from Lowell), a Winslow (from Boston), and a Wheeler (from Concord). Two woodcut illustrations of a coach and four with passengers and driver on the upper margin.
Cond: Surface grim; folded with a 2" split in the central fold. Manuscript, letterpress and engraving on paper.
