DescriptionH.L. Whitcomb. Porcelain plate with raised circular foot, raffled edges decorated with spattered gilding and gilt edge; in the center a polychrome transfer print of D.C. French's Concord Minuteman of 1775 and inscription: "MINUTE MAN CONCORD MASS." On the back is the gilt transfer inscription: "B.F H.S./ CHINA/ MADE IN AUSTRIA/ For H.L. Whitcomb/ Concord Mass."
