DescriptionMezzotint engraving of an officer standing by cannon muzzle holding in right hand rolled "Plan of Martinique". (cropped) Full length portrait of a man in dress uniform. One hand holds a scroll and the other points to a cannon, behind which is the darkened entrance of a camp tent. A battle in far background. The sheet of the print is trimmed at the edges. It is mounted on cream colored mat board, under glass in a black, wooden frame with a gilt inner liner carved with a bead motif.
