This bridge was carried out in a winter storm of 1881-1882 and replaced by a heavy wooden bridge which was the one pictured in National Geographic. Nell Freeman is now Mrs. Edward J. Woodworth. She has the original photograph but gave an enlargement to Mrs. Roger Spear of 7 Lincoln Circle, Wellesley Hills. Another enlargement is to be given to the Concord Antiquarian.
