DescriptionTwo hand-tinted photographs (ambrotypes or tintypes) in a black hinged case with gilt metal frames. On the viewer's left is a bust-length image of a young woman wearing a white collar, hair parted at center. On the viewer's right is a bust-length image of a man, 3/4 turn, with a full beard. A note identifies the pair as Eliza Leighton and Dr. Henry Augustus Barrett on their wedding day, September 30, 1863.
