DescriptionA double sided Christmas card consisting of a colored lithograph print on cardstock. On one side the image features five children and four birds seated on a branch in an alternating pattern. The figures are surrounded by a yellow gold border. Text along the bottom edge reads: "A CHRISTMAS CAROL". On the verso, the card features an image of a sprig of blue berries and leaves and blue bells on a string. The image is accompanied by the text: "CHRISTS/[text missing] / though churls at y[text missing] h repine / Round your foreheads [text missing] and s twine / and let us all be merry! / All the streets with echoes ring, / woods, and hills and everything / Bear witness we are merry!". An inscription in pen along the lower edge reads: "With love from your friends / S.S. /[indistinct]."
