DescriptionHanging box (spice box). Two drawers at bottom with compartment at top with slanting lid. Back panel has handle at top, with circular section with hole for hanging box. Molding applied to front edge of sides, and above each drawer. c. 2" rail divides drawers at front, two thin strips inside on sides support back of top drawer. Edges of bottom panel and lid rounded. Bottom of top compartment beveled on top edge only, set in grooves in sides. One pull on each drawer, bottom one carved, top turned. Lid hinged with wire loops. Sides rabbeted and nailed to back, bottom nailed to back and sides. Drawers dovetailed front and back. Box stained or painted brown.
