DescriptionOpaque mug. Straight sides, handle crudely applied. Pontil mark on base. Enamelled, painted decoration, central motif of a man in 18th century costume (3/4 length) in an oval, framed in a scroll design. On each side of this is a bunch of flowers. Borders of fine red lines above and below. Colors: blue, red, yelloe, green. Mug is badly cracked and one fragment (part of man's head) missing.
