DescriptionFlint metal, slightly bluish in color and moderately spotted, with air bubbles and small grains of sand. Pontil mark is small and has been smoothed and polished. Engraved decoration in the style of Adam. A delicate design somewhat more elaborate than G171. There is a narrow band of solid engraving entwined with a four-leaf garland. Below are foliated swags and pendants relieved by delicate conventional flower designs. About the neck of the bottle is hung a small moon-shaped mother-of-pearl label marked wine.
