"Tiverton 7th August 1780/ Sir-- you will immediately march with your company to Dartmouth to defend the [Town?] from the invasion of the Enemy who are off the harbour of Bedford By order of Genl Heath [?]....[the rest is illegible, written in a different ink.]" Revolutionary War.
