DescriptionPoke bonnet made from straw and horsehair braid. The crown is black, cream, and straw-colored, with alternating stripes straw-work and a black and cream criss-cross design. Around the brim is white netting edged in black and adorned throughout with dark brown small straw-colored adornments. Two wide white taffeta ribbon ties with yellow and red dots. There are folds of cloth at the back of the neck.
