DescriptionTea pot (C816) with lid (C816a). Earthenware, soft paste. Cream colored paste. Lustred ware. Partial tea set (not all pieces from the same set): C815-C823. Painted with purple, lilac and copper lustre in the popular "cottage design". This consists of a crude landscape usually featuring a steep gabled cottage surrounded by trees. Sometimes the cottage is replaced by a bridge or fence. Not all pieces exactly alike, nor did they all come from one set.
