DescriptionEarthenware. Handle leafed top and bottom. Red band on rim and handle, glaze turned very brown. One side: Being lessons for youth on Industry, Temperance, Frugality &c. Other side: The way to wealth or Dr. Franklin's Poor Richard Illustrated. Front, a warehouse wharf: By diligance [sic] and perserverance the mouse eats the cable in two. Diligence is the mother of good luck & God is all things to industry.
