DescriptionPorcelain. Earthenware (?). C955-C955k, 13 odd covers. Flat cover of the type used on drum form teapots. On teapot C500, not original. Strawberry finial with applied leaves. Incised spiral line under glaze on bottom. Decorated with black overglaze opaque enamels and gilding. Finial is gilt; leaves are black. Outer border of lare leaves intertwined with lines of smaller leaves, in black with gold acorns. Inner border of alternate black and gold husks. On teapot C500, not original to it.
