DescriptionSingle sheet of paper, presumably part of a larger set or cutout from a book, depicting women's clothing. There are three 3/4 views of women at the top, two bonnets on either side, and two full views of women's dress. These two dresses have been colored in, the one on the left is wearing a green dress and a pink bonnet, and the one of the right is wearing a blue dress and a purple bonnet. "Fashions for July 1840" is written at the bottom. Part of a collection of items related to and used for historical costume research. The items are stored in a flat, rectangular box with a white, leather textured exterior and a separate lid.
