DescriptionColored pencil drawing of Concord Center Christmas tree. Matted with printed card, "The/ blue spruce,/ flagpole neighbor, in/ Concord Center/ is a living tribute to/ Charles F. Myette who was a/ town firefighter 1946-1956./ As tree warden, he planted/ and preserved many/ beauties along our/ public ways. His evergreen/ was about six feet tall when the/ Inde-Cott Garden Club planted it/ in May 1961. At 2001, its/ 70-foot maturity/ challenges the town to light it/ for December. The tree is a beacon and/ a gathering place for song. The tree/ has a sort of magic to empower the resolute/ words of native son/ Ralph Waldo Emerson:/ Write it on your heart/ that every day is the best day/ of the year." Cream mat; gold carved frame. Accompanied by 65 greeting cards and envelopes, from the drawing (in a box). Same image and text, but with the addition of: "A Limited Edition 2001, colored pencil drawing and calligraphy by Kristina Joyce,/ 646 Main Street, Concord, Massachusetts 01742-3308."
