The American Ambulance Field Service was an alliance between the armies of France and the United States. Text is surrounded by a lithographed image: at top, the American eagle crest with four flags both French and American, at left depiction of Revolutionary era soldiers, American and French 1776-1783, at right depiction of World War I soldiers both French and American 1914-1917. In stained wooden frame, under glass. Corrugated cardboard backing.
