DescriptionOne of two copies. "Give Aluminum For Defense/ The Week of July 21st through to July 30, 1941/ is the week set aside for the collection of aluminum for Defense--You are to give only such articles as need not be replaced. Two bins have been placed in convenient places to collect the aluminum--one on the Concord Green near the flag pole--and one near the Boston and Maine Railroad Station in West Concord. Anyone who is unable to bring their aluminum to either of the two bins may have it collected....Mayor LaGuardia of New York City, National Director of Civilian Defense has asked all citizens to respond generously to this campaign.
